qEngine 15 is now available for free download.

qEngine (qE) is a lightweight, fast, yet feature packed CMS script to help you building your site quickly. Using template engine to separate the php codes from the design, you don't need to touch the codes to design your web site. qE is also expandable by using modules.

Time Machine thingy

Did you ever realize that the article you modified was actually the wrong one? Or when you tried to save a really long article, but your ISP messed up, and you lost everything, including original contents?

qEngine 15 now supports contents restore, roll back, time machine, which allows you to revert to any past versions. To use this feature, follow this instructions:

  1. Enable "Detailed Logs" in Tools > Site Configurations > Engine Settings > Use Detailed Logs? Set to Yes.
  2. In supported features, eg Page Editor, Category Editor, click on "See details or restore changes".

Tabs in ACP

qEngine 15 uses tabs instead of long pages for much cleaner interface.

ACP Shortcuts in Front End

Log into your administrator's account, and open front end to see ACP shortcuts.

Removed Features

  • Google RSS reader has been discontinued and replaced with my own RSS reader.
  • No longer Internet Explorer 8 supports.
  • No more BB code supports.
