It is possible to change the shape of the link listings from vertical to horizontal (although I have not been able to find that setting again – where is it)?
However, this only changes the entries in the actual directories, not on the front page where they remain vertical. Is this possible to change as well?
Changing the view mode from grid to list needs a simple editing:
[Open with a text editor, or built-in file manager]
/skins/default/welcome.tpl
[Find]
display = grid
[Replace with]
display = list
