Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I download?
You can download my scripts here.
What is qEngine CMS (qE)?
qEngine is my own CMS (content management system). But to me, qEngine (qE) is more than a CMS, it's a framework, a library. That's why all of my scripts (qE CMS, Cart97 PRO, Kemana, etc) are using qE. Because of this, features & documentations for qE are also applicable to all of my scripts.
What is the qEngine/Cart97/Kemana system requirements?
qEngine/Cart97/Kemana is difficult to use!
There are too many skin files to modify!
Why should I add <!-- BEGINMODULE -->, why can't I just install a module, and it appears automagically?
My aim with qE is to provide a lightweight CMS, yet very flexible. With other CMS you may only need to modify one-two skin files, but the layout so rigid, so template like.
qE on the other hand is very flexible, you can create 1, 2, 3, 4, or more column. You can apply different design for each boxes.
Starting v4.0; qE is getting easier. By default, you only need to modify 4 .tpl files! The rest of the .tpl files are still there, but you won't need it, unless you want to fine tune everything.
And also, starting v4.0, you don't need to use <!-- BEGINMODULE --> to display module. Simply use Module Manager to display your modules in 8 pre-defined positions!
qEngine/Cart97/Kemana is very awesome. The best cms ever. How can I show my appreciation?
