qEngine 6.0 is now available for download. It's free! qEngine is a lightweight yet feature packed CMS script. It is template based, so you can focus more on design instead of on PHP coding. To learn more about qEngine 6.0, go here.

qEngine 6.0 demo is now available in http://qdemo.c97.net; for ACP go to http://qdemo.c97.net/admin. The user id and password are both: 'admin'.

Feel free to experiment with the demo, it will be reset daily. I will upload the script very soon. And it will be free to download.

In case you are wondering why you can't login with your user id & password, that's because qE6 uses a new password encrytion, so you will need to reset your password. It's easy:

1. Click Login/Register
2. Click Lost Password?
3. And enter your user id or email.
4. A reset email will be sent to you.
5. Follow the instruction in the email.

I'm really sorry about this, and qE6 will not be compatible with previous qE. The same with upcoming Cart3 (I'm looking for a nice name for Cart97 PRO v3, any idea?). Cart3 & Kemana2 will not be compatible with previous versions.

After spending more than one year on a big client's job, finally, I'm back! It has been a real pleasure working on a big job, but it sure takes a lot of time. But, finally it's done, and I'm ready to continue working on my pet, qEngine.

As you can see this site now looks a little bit different, that's because I'm using qEngine v6. It has many new features I have been planning for a long time, including:

• Real SEF URL (see this page url, no more page,pid,123,i-m-back-.php; instead im-back.php).
• Responsive web design for default skin. Go ahead, resize your browser to see it in action.
• Bug fixes (of course)
• Security improvment (yes)
• Even smaller yet faster engine!
• ACP notification center
• Changes log
• And many more
